Prompting seems to work for me.  The SQL lines are just text though.  

I thought that last week at COMMON,  I heard a way to prompt the SQL
statements.  Trouble is, my memory retrieval system is failing, I'll have to
search for it.  When  I find it I'll  let you know. (Of all the things I've
lost, I miss my memory the most.;^)

This was the problem.  I had to check this box in order for this to
work.    However, I did notice that I apparently cannot prompt on
SQLRPGLE programs.
