Perhaps this will help. When I worked from a local file, I found that
there is a properties dialog for the file. Even though the file type was
right, there is a check box for contains sequence numbers. When I checked
that box (yes), my color coding showed up and I had no more troubles from
the kind of display you showed.

HTH,

Dave Boettcher

Subject: [WDSCI-L] importing a rpg or sqlrpg

if i import a program via WDSc v4.0 an open it with the LPEX editor, the
program seems to be ok, However, if i open it with CodeEdit it looks like
this

000100011019 H bnddir('SRVBNDDIR')

000200011019 H DFTACTGRP(*NO)

000300011019 H actgrp(*NEW)

000400011018 H option(*srcstmt : *nodebugio)

000500010404Â'
F**********************************************************************

000600010404Â' F*

As a result the nothing prompts correctly. I can remove all this garbage
and get it lined up, but then if i push the changes back to the 400, it gets
messed up on that side.

Any ideas why this is happening

I really want to use this product, but i'm getting frustrated.

Thanks Mike
