yes there are different things to check in the different perspectives. Check Window -> preferences -> Remote Systems -> iSeries -> Cache and make sure the "work offline" and "use cache for retrieving lists" are not checked. Do you have all the current service packs installed? (sp3 is the latest). If not go to the ibm site and download them. This fixed the problems I had. If this does nothing for you, I suggest you open a pmr with IBM. You can also try using the iSeries projects perspective to make changes to your code. All your changes are done locally on your pc and when your ready, you "push" your changes to the 400. -----Original Message----- From: Bartell, Aaron L. (TC) [mailto:ALBartell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 9:05 AM To: 'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries' Subject: [WDSCI-L] Saving not Saving I am editing RPG source members in WDSc 4.0 and it will save to the 400 for awhile, but then after awhile it just saves it to the temporary location on my PC. The member is still locked on the 400, but none of my changes show up when I look at them through SEU. Save As doesn't save it either. I have to close the member on the client and unlock it on the 400. Then I have to go to the temp folder and save that to the 400, which again, will work for awhile until the cycle repeats itself. Any suggestions?
