Hi,

I just followed the instructions, but with no luck. After pressing Enter on
my applications first screen, I still get the error about UTF-8 ? The sever
console shows;

ERR[1]: K4S3I15JYP02GRDXHVGEUSA: The check field was received incorrectly by
the application server.
This is likely caused by the client encoding being incorrect.

The environment of defaultInstance.wsi contains a "client.encoding.override"
with value "UTF-8" and the module visibility has been set to "MODULE" in
server-cfg.xml

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Environmen

Setting UTF-8 system properties for WebFacing in the test environment is
covered in the WebFacing documentation that ships with the software. This
documentation also has some information about the general setup of the test
environment.

To get to this information:
>From the IDE, select Help > Help Contents.
>From the drop down menu, select Development Studio Client.
Select the Components tab at the bottom.
>From the help navigation, select the WebFacing Tool icon.
See the subject "Using the WebSphere v4.0 Test Environment".

Hi,

I'm playing around with Webfacing in WDSc 4 now, but when trying to run it
in the included Websphere 4.0 Test Environment, I get an error after I
pressed Enter on one of my first screens within the Webfacing application.

It complains about UTF-8 support for WAS, and I can find how to enable it
for a normal WAS instance, but not for the included test environment.
Anyone knows how this is done ?

Kind regards,
Paul
