Rob,

You mean bring the fields into a separate view?  I don't think so.
Although you could probably split the source member and then run the macro
in just one of the views.  Perhaps if you hacked the macro you could make
it do the split automatically?

Also, if you are using WDSc, the RSE has some nice features for displaying
the record formats of database files.

Did you know that if you enable the "Extras" one of the options is to
import
a field list into your source.  Purple text (just like syntax error
lines).

It has been a big time saver for me.

command.


EXTRAS ON

This enables the macros.

The EXTRAS macros consist of several types of files:

Macro files
Profiles
Editor commands
