Don here, I guess I was a little lazy with my request for information. Sorry. I move a single source member between 400's quit often; from production to test and back to production, for example. Before WDSc, I would have a dedicated 5250 session (running StrCode) on each box. In PDM I would do a "CB" to kick off Code, then a "save as" and simply change the <system name>. This is the fastest method I found. I liked the old Project functionality but, it crash too often. BTY, I used 5250 and StrCode for the same reason; it always worked. I am giving alternate communications methods another try; even though I am still missing some functionality (prompting). I will be happy if it is robust enough not to crash. So, I am in the "Remote Systems Explorer" perspective. I have several connections with custom filter pools. I want to move a RPGLE or CL member from one connection to another. (Copy, Modify, Test, Return Copy) When I open up Code, via RSE, it looks like the file is on my PC; which is ok. I just want a fast way to move a single member (or what about all the members under a filter!) from one box to another. Also I am using RSE instead of Project perspective because I often need to work on related source members in different libraries. Think of an AP program that calls a HR & GL program, each in a different library. I must have missed something but, it looks like Projects restricted me to one library.
