I tried that ... but didn't catch the event.

SystemView rseView = SystemPerspectiveHelpers.findRSEView();
if (rseView != null) {
SystemViewPart part = rseView.getSystemViewPart();
part.addPropertyListener(new IPropertyListener() {
public void propertyChanged(Object source, int propId) {
Object s = source;
}
});
}

The rseView was established, as was the part, but the listener never fired.
