A quick google search for "ISystemResourceChangeEvent" gives this link:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iadthelp/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.systems.doc.isv/reference/api/com/ibm/etools/systems/model/ISystemResourceChangeEvent.html

Note that this page says this interface is "for internal use only" and
that BPs and ISVs should be using ISystemModelChangeEvent ... :-o

Well, yeah, but I got the technique from Kushal in the Toronto
development lab.

Looking at the links you provided, it appears that the
ISystemModelChangeEvent interface does not support a 'refresh' mechanism
(unless SYSTEM_RESOURCE_ALL_RELOADED covers that, but on the surface it
doesn't seem like it would).

My subsystem is not using RSE filters ... which the ISV support routines
in the RSE seem to be heavily biased towards.

Some time ago, IBM turned over much of the RSE stuff to the open source
Eclipse foundation, and that is now part of the "target management"
project of Eclipse.

Yep ... and that means we probably get to refactor a bunch of our code
when WDSC 8 comes out :( (unless the guys in Toronto provide proxy
routines to the new code base {hint hint hint}).
