my understanding is XAML allows the programmer to separate the View

So do you have to use XAML for the WPF app to be available over the

Subject: [SystemiDotNet] XAML and WPF

I think I have decided to switch from windows forms to WPF for my
desktop programming. The Petzold book on WPF is pretty good. One thing
I like about it is that in the first part of the book all the WPF code
presented is in a WinForms style, without XAML.  What I am trying to
research now is whether I should use XAML or not.  Here is a good
article on XAML: http://kentb.blogspot.com/2008/01/xaml.html
