We are at System 21 version 3.5.2B SP3 and are prepping to move to V6R1
of the O/S. We've had to recompile over 2,000 System 21 programs that
will not run at V6R1 without recompilation and it's been really ugly but
we are nearly there.
While trying to recompile the Sales Analysis "Update sales History"
SQLRPG program, OSLSAP3/SA025, at 3.5.2B so it will work at V6R1. I get
the following SQL errors.
SQL1001 30 176 External file definition for AIPS8L02 not found.
SQL1001 30 643 External file definition for AIPS7 not found.
SQL1103 10 728 Position 14 Column definitions for table AIPS8 in
*LIBL
not found.
SQL1103 10 728 Position 21 Column definitions for table AIPS7 in
*LIBL
not found.
SQL0312 30 1573 Position 43 Variable VATRS8 not defined or not
usable.
SQL0312 30 1576 Position 16 Variable RESNS7 not defined or not
usable.
When I do a DSPREF on SA025 it shows files AIPS8L02 or AIPS7 in the
object that I received from JBA or Geac but I do not have them anywhere
on my system.
Does someone have the file layouts for these files so that I can compile
them and get my program recompiled? I'd probably need the layouts for
AIPS8 (if that is the physical over AIP8L02), AIPS7, and AIP8L02. I
obviously don't use these files but need them for the compile. I think
any version 3 files will work since the dates of the code in the program
that is not compiling is from 1997.
Thanks in advance for your help.
