We are not running Version 1 of Aurora but the 1099 programs haven't changed much over time. There are changes to 1099 electronic file format for 2006. Check on Answer Link for the Solution I was able to retrofit this to our 3.5.2b level so you shouldn't have much trouble at your release level. We use 32/GLN to generate the transmission file that we submit to the IRS. The file name is FLPW5 . We just submitted our file this morning and are waiting for a thumps up or down from the IRS. We are running version 1 of Aurora. Has anyone used option #32 on the /GLN menu to generate the 1099 file to send to the IRS? We used this option to print the 1099s and they looked accurate. I am not 100% confident that the file that Aurora outputs meets the IRS specifications for electronically filing and was wondering if anyone has used this in the past. Thanks in advance, Randy Rasp AER Manufacturing _______________________________________________ This is the System 21 Users (SYSTEM21) mailing list To post a message email: SYSTEM21@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/system21 or email: SYSTEM21-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/system21.
