Just a simple point on obtaining Geac source, from someone who worked on 
the Geac support desk (and indeed Payroll) for many years.  Geac have 
always been very willing to provide source to any customer, as long as 
they're prepared to pay a reasonable fee for the privilege.  They have to 
make money somewhere!
