System 21 to Aurora Migration

We currently run V3.5.2 SP4 of system 21 
(OE,IN,WH,PM,Production,MRP,Financials,Payroll) and are considering the 
move to Aurora. We are on VrR2 of OS on a 270 - 86GB, 60% used. We have 
some bespoke work, particularly in OE. 

As general questions to those of you who have made such a move :

1. What, if any, are the OS implications ?

2. How difficult is the migration and how much involvement would we need 
from GEAC 

3. What is your experience of obtaining the source from GEAC (we are 
finding it increasingly difficult to persuade GEAC to release new Payroll 
PTFs with source)

Finally, what are your views on GEAC's commitment to those of us on older 
software, would we be advised to make the move now, before we are forced 
to by a removal of support, or can we hang on ?.
