RUNAMTASK works just fine, although it doesn't have the help text that 
graces EXCAMTASK, is undocumented and it is a trifle pernicketty.  It 
requires you to specify the PGM parameter, even though this would not 
appear necessary - given that you've just specified the task code!  If 
you've got the brute to work, I'd carry on using it.
