As it stands we are looking at going with the Albany Software for
certain parts of our bacs transmissions at the same time going for
GEAC's proposed solution for the SYSTEM21 bits.

Everyone
I have checked this out and there are only 13 companies that
have been approved by BACS in the UK - Eiger is one of them. This list
was at April
2004 mind you.

        ABM Limited
        Access Europe
        Albany Software
        APT
        Barron McCann
        Bottomline Technologies
        Eiger Systems
        Fortis Bank
        Grange Management Cons
        InterSoftware UK
        Microgen
        NatWest Bank
        Payactive

I would shop around before going with Eiger

ps - Don't underestimate the amount of work required to
implement BACSTEL-IP

        best regards

        Paul Milne-Smith

I am not currently a user of BACS software at the moment but I have
installed and used a number of packages over the years. The one I
usually recommend is from Grange Management Consultants, take a look
here:

A quick question for the folks in the UK. As all of you BACS users are
aware, the old BACS facility is being switched off at the end of this
year.
Now, GEAC have an offering in conjunction with a company called Eiger
Systems to work with the BACS-IP facility. I was wondering what others
are planning on doing. Are you going to go with the GEAC solution or
are you planning on going with a different one (and if it is a different
one, then which one)?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.
