I think that what you are thinking about is the print queue override
which is user specific. You can also use this to make prints hold for a
specific user (which you could possibly do in this case in order to
allow them to increase the number of copies if it's a as/400 friendly
user!)

To access this override you:

STRM400
9 - Administration Functions
1 - Maintain User Profile
Enter User Profile
F19 - Company/Task
Enter a 3 against the relevant Application i.e OE XXX 03
Enter again
F14 - Print Overrides

Find the relevant task, enter the printer you want to override to (if
req.) and a 1 in the hold column if you want to hold.

Sorry it's not what you were looking for but the only other alternative
is to have a hardcoded CL to override when the job is run by a
particular user (certainly not ideal)

Good Luck

Rose.

Hi Gary

Don't ever remember seeing this in the manager suite but it is a simple
OS400 command.

On command line type CHGPRTF and press F4, enter the name of the PRTF
and
LIB and you will be presented with a nuber of options that can be
modified.
Press F10 to get additional values and page down until you get to number
of
copies and change it.

Of course this, like most other OS400 commands, can be abbreviated to a
single command line - once you know the key words you need. In this
instance it could be:
CHGPRTF FILE(LIBRARY/FILENAME) COPIES(X) where X is the required number
of
copies.

[SYSTEM21] Printing multiple copies of a report

Quick question.

Is there a facility somewhere in STRM400 to specify the default number
of
copies of a report to print? I'm sure I've done this before but can't
for
the life of me find it.

Thanks
