Hi Neil.. Three months ago I did this on my SP5 system21. 1.) Purch.Mgt ==> Standard S21 utility on is purging cancelled order and audit records. What I suggest to do is, if you have resources it is better to write a program to archieve those record, instead of purging. 2.) Inventory movement records ==> you can delete the transaction histroy, but if you have resources you better write archive program for it. 3.) WH mgt ==> you can delete wh movement records and event/action list, but stilll I propose the same suggestion for this. 4.) For production ==> you can esxecute the order archieving. Other thing that can save your disk space is try to find out if there are any journall working at your machine. Sometimes some journall was set without automatic deletion of the past receiver and also clear out useless libraries and files. Regards, Imam D. The only problem that I remember was the requirement to set the current vat period to get the gl archive to work. I assume that you have enough disk space? Apart from getting a decent backup first, does anyone have any advice please? Has anyone been caught out by running these tasks? We are at 3.5.2b SP3.
