You need to use the menu option to set up the hierarchy, but I am guessing you are attempting to do this programmatically. Certainly if you are setting up 30 or less it would be easier using the menu option. If you are setting up hundreds of records and need to do it programmatically there is the SLP04 file that needs creating as well as 4 or 5 fields on the customer side. If you have any existing transactions then they also need to be updated (SLP15 & SLP20) and then an A/R rebuild would need to be run. I've done it in the past successfully and it isn't too bad providing you spend the research time up front. We had several hierarchies that we needed to set up and all the child accounts were in a set range so it was easy to pass parameters to the program for each hierarchy. If I want all the invoices to go to the Parent of the hierarchy do I need to set the parent account & Invoice Account fields on the master file to the Parent Hierarchy acc. If so what should I be setting the same fields on the different delivery seqs. Should they be going to the Hierarchal Parent acc or their own parent? tia Jon Jon.Wadey@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Supercook Website_______________________________________________ This is the System 21 Users (SYSTEM21) mailing list To post a message email: SYSTEM21@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/system21 or email: SYSTEM21-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/system21.
