We upgraded to V5R3 2 weeks ago with S21 at AP2.4 and ran into a few problems: 1) MPS runs were ending abnormally. We had to re-compile DB081 with commitment control set to *NONE 2) Transfer Costs to Inventory was ending abnormally. A re-compile of DB081 fixed this as well. 3) Work Order Archive started to run for an excessive amount of time. MS_ORD_ARC would work endlessly on building indexes to PCP62. We upgraded from a 9406 720 to an iSeries 9406 520 a week later and the archive performance problem disappeared. Based on our experience, the old AS/400 did not run as well with V5R3. Outside of S21, if you have software accessing DB2/400 through ODBC connections, SQL commands may fail. This problem began after our hardware upgrade, so it seems to have something to do with V5R3 on an iSeries machine. We are working with IBM, but there is no fix at this time. -----Original Message----- From: Diana Larsson [mailto:dlarsson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 3:23 PM To: 'System 21 Users' Subject: RE: [SYSTEM21] System 21 on V5R3 We have not as of yet but in talking with GEAC their software should run under the operating system. -----Original Message----- From: system21-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:system21-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lemon, Michael Sent: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 3:20 PM To: 'System 21 Users' Subject: [SYSTEM21] System 21 on V5R3 Has anyone on the list upgraded their box to V5R3 yet?
