Angus: The "M" word: One of my clients excluded certain "sales" from Forecasting by assigning identifying Customer Classes to these "customers" and then modifying the job that transfers sales history from Sales Analysis to Forecasting to ignore these records. However, if these "samples" are not just a one-time event (perhaps at the introduction of a new product), it may be best for forecasting to see this demand and plan for the product to be available for future samples.
