RE: JBA - INVENTORY MANAGEMENT : PERIOD END CONTROL

Ditto what Joe said with the following addition...:

Keeping in mind that 2/INC - Inventory Monthend Close - is the first step in the closing...

And further that all A/R transactions are based on the Inventory Calendar...

We suspend all A/R postings until the A/R period has been closed and reopened...

We want to be sure that our Customer Balances are an accurate snapshot of where they were at the monthend date... If we continue to post A/R then those balances would be changing...
This helps us to balance...

PS - We use Future 3 to Invoice and therefore we do not need to suspend the Printing of invoices only the posting to A/R after they are fed to OE via the F3-->JBA interface...
