Meena: 1. Through command STRM400 - Option 5 - then option 3 you can set up your interactive and batch programs. On this screen F10 gives you move option to define jobq, outq etc. 2. If you are working on green screen if you key in the option and press F4 instead of enter you can change the attributes of the batch job at runtime. 3. If you want to initiate a batch job from your program you can call program 'XA902' directly instead of defining in manager 400. In this case you can either let the parameters default from the JBA user profile or override the following LDA Parameters to name a few: a. L#JOBQ - Job Q b. L#JOBL - Out Q c. L#PGID - your batch program d. L#JOBN - Job Name e. L#RTCD = ' Y' - Mandatory . You can get the rest of the parameters from WRKLDA command. Hope this helps Ram S. Suppose for a task if we have both interactive program and batch program options are listed out, I wonder when did this batch program will run and how. Do we need to specify somewhere. How did this batch program kick off. If any one is aware, pls let me know. Thanks in advance Regards, Meena Yahoo!
