I had read about Caddy a few years back. I know people who interface CAD based systems with other AS/400 ERPs, so it's possible. Thanks for the info. >>> mis@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 08/18/03 07:44AM >>> Peter, We actually have the code for that groovy little product. It was called Caddy. It is written in 'C' but we never implemented it. Long story. It was quite good with AutoCAD. It was such a new concept for our Engineering Department, that they weren't comfortable with it. One of life's missed opportunities. It was saved to tape and is in 3.5.1 release level. Just wanted you to know. I'm looking for some magical software to assist with the creation of Parts, BOMS, and routes. A recent demo of Inventor looked promising for generating part numbers and possibly BOMS. _______________________________________________ This is the System 21 Users (SYSTEM21) mailing list To post a message email: SYSTEM21@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/system21 or email: SYSTEM21-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/system21.
