For back to backs the information is stored in INP71H and deleted from INP71 by the reservation monitor when received. For DD's The receiving info is updated in INP71 and an entry is also made to INP71H. Here is the list of modifications we did to this part of the system 1. Modified Whole order Inquiry and PO Inquiry by PO number to have another option similar to option 3 in Whole order inq and option 4 in PO inq to look into INP71H instead of INP71. 2. When a DD is received instead of Updating INP71, went ahead and deleted the record after the system automatically allocated/Pick and invoices. 3. We had to do option 2 because it was easier when we added PO number when printing Ackn, Pro-forma, Invoices etc. So that the program looks into INP71 for open Pos and INP71H for closed. 4. While working on this Mod we also fixed the problem with the reservation monitor handlings reservations made against Stock Pos We are at V351 Hope this helps Ram S. The problem with doing this is that the reservation link between sales order and purchase order is deleted from INP71 when the receipt is made and invoice is generated. The question is for those of you who still have access to source or to those who may have made modification requests to Geac, has any one made a change to this process so that the reservation link is kept indefinitely? It seems to be relatively easy solution to my problem, but would like some feedback before I start digging into the code. Dave Barry Programming Manager Dawn Food Products, Inc.
