[SYS21] non Balance Sheet items in inventory that are standard costed

Tim,

If you want to track inventory levels for restocking but don't care about
valuation you can store your supplies in a non-valued stockroom...

>From Company Profile Maintenance 1/INU you will find...

IN010             Your company name                          User

Maintain Company Profile

Stockroom................... FG   FINISHED GOODS
Include in valuation........ 1    (0=No,1=Yes)             <-------------------
This flag should be '0' for a non-valued stockroom...
Stockroom usage code.....?..
Department...............?..
Stockroom site...........?..

This might be the elegant solution you were hoping for...
