-- Sorry, we're no where's near there yet... Hopefully you entered that on Answerlink and are getting them to accept it as a problem... The real question is can they or anyone else duplicate the problem...? I'll try to find some time later to see if I can duplicate... The user entered a manufactured part number in a stockroom and the system worked fine. The user entered a purchased part and the system flashed an error message program IN003 has failed and kicks me back to the menu. The user tried entering other manufactured and purchased parts and the manufactured parts work, but the purchased ones don -- Ęt. Program IN003 is vanilla - Looking through the source compare, chunks of the same code were added at lines 813, 2982, 2016, and 1537 to move CSCD63 (field found in file INP63L02) to "I", then to add 1 to variable "I". I think the problem is that the data in CSCD63 is alphabetic. It blew up, actually on line 815. Line 813 - moves variable CSCD63, value "FR" to variable I. The move must convert it to hex because variable I contains -69 as a result of the move. Line 814 adds 1 to variable I. Line 815 blows up with "Array index out of range message" Has any one experience this in SP4 _____________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com _______________________________________________ This is the GEAC/JBA System 21 Users (JBAUSERS-L) mailing list To post a message email: JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/jbausers-l or email: JBAUSERS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/jbausers-l. _______________________________________________ This is the GEAC/JBA System 21 Users (JBAUSERS-L) mailing list To post a message email: JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/jbausers-l or email: JBAUSERS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/jbausers-l. --
