Dear Neil In a previous incarnation (Isons) I created a 13th period in GL for post year end accounting adjustments and was very happy with it. Whilst I would recommend this to everyone from an finance point of view I would also issue a note of caution. As has been indicated it messed up the GL balances right back to the beginning big style. I had to run a GL rebuild but mine worked through all the years in one, maybe I had a lucky tie on :-) If I remember correctly we were back on 3.4 something at the time so try it in test first. Kind regards Andrew Tribe Financial Controller Pimpernel International Ltd __________________ Neil wrote I've been requested to set-up a period 13 for use at year-end.
