Hello Wiley

There are a few ways to do this - other than using Cobwebb which I don't
think GEAC promote any more.

One of our sister companies uses FASTFAX on the AS/400 very successfully -
since '96.

However, my preferred solution is one of the many excellent forms printing
packages now available. They tend to solve a multitude of problems whilst
allowing full internal control by non-technical people. If you have a
reasonable 'eye' for what a form should look like you will be able to drive
any of the WYSIWYG interfaces. The package we use (no names as I don't want
to be seen as promoting a specific product - rather the concept) takes
standard AS/400 spool files to a remote OUTQ (an Input Queue on an NT or
W2K server) and processes the data to print/fax/email or archive or any
combination of these.

I strongly suggest that you might make your own enquiries on products such
as these.

The only thing I will say is to make sure you try to get something with
'local' support. We are based in Australia and use a UK product. Local
support company no longer trades and remote support half way round the
world with timezone differences, currency differences etc is not desirable.

Can anybody tell me how to fax purchase orders from JBA. The help says you
can do this if you have the Cobwebb fax module. Has
anybody used this? We have tried to do this with OPTIO but we can't get
this
to work with multiple PO's in the spool file. Any
suggestions?
