We reviewed the WO module looking strongly at the warranty piece. In my option it ain't bad. But it was really for depot work, in other words it was for companies that have customer drop off items to be repaired not for fieldwork. The Service Repair module handles service work in the field and is a very powerful module and since 3.5.2B it is much better than before. You should press someone at Geac to give you an overview or demo. I think it maybe worth your time. It deals mainly in the servicing / repairs / maintenance of heavy equipment ( bobcat etc) . Such jobs are made up of various components : Spare parts , labour , other materials etc and are invoiced at completion. History of repairs and machine population (which serial number is owned by which customer) are important data to be held by the application . I know that S21 has the WO application, but have no info on same ( searched in Infobase) , I have also realised that we do not have auth code - I could have investigated further . From past contacts, my understanding is that such a module was specially suited to consumer electronics and was possibly not very stable . I will appreciate your opinion of this product in the environment that I mentioned before .
