Two ideas come to mind. You can view the issue as an EDI application. Load the AI files from the hand held and run AI as if you received an electronic order from a customer. An alternative is to use the interface that is used by telesales. The telesales alternative would be a bit more real time if that is an issue. Are the hand helds wireless or will the download occur at scheduled times via a land line?
