Jeff,

    You can upgrade any 5xx, 6xx, & 7xx to V5R1, and supposedly any 6xx,
7xx, and 8xx to V5R2.  When upgrading to V5R1 there is some old hardware
that will no longer work, which are mostly SPD cards, like ASCII WS
Controllers and Fax Cards.
