Peter, First, what version and service pack are you currently running...? I vaguely remember seeing a Support Alert on something very similar to what you are describing... Perhaps Answerlink can assist you directly... Also, I do believe that the order class values are actually hard coded in several programs thus explaining the different behavior you encounter in the various programs... If the Order Class is set to 8 during purchase order entry and a landed cost (e.g. CC for carriage) is entered against a line, although the landed cost is shown correctly against the line at this stage, when it is booked in no landed cost is associated with the line. 13/PMP then shows no landed cost against the line, but DOES include a landed cost in the control totals window (F16). Perhaps significantly, 42/PMP and line amendment does still show a landed cost, but the derived value is now zero. This phenomenon is not manifest when using order class 1. Why aren't the landed costs being used for orders with an order class of 8, but are being used OK for orders with an order class of 1? Second question: whilst I see that the order class descriptions - ORDC - are maintained in 1/PMM, what is it that controls the other effects of the different order classes - class 1 results in different prompts from class 8 on screen 2 of 41/PMP - class 1 asks for supp ref & item code, whereas class 8 prompts for supp ref & GL code and doesn't prompt for full text?
