At PTS we are using FaxStar to Fax invoices, POs, and customer acknowledgements. To implement, you fax a copy of your forms to the FaxStar terminal to use as an overlay. It is stored on the termianl and called by putting imbedded commands into the print file. We are using Infoprint 21 and Infoprint 40 IBM printers to print invoices, statements, and POs. The overlays were created by IBM in Boulder, CO and we loaded them from a CD. The overlays are called using the OVRPRTF command. We are presently investigating using the new JBA option to e-mail invoices. If you have experience with the Optio product or any other another document processing solution I would appreciate your comments -- in or out of this forum. Thank you --- Steve Prill I.S.
