>From experience I'd suggest who contract your Geac Support Team. Geac has a
tool (program) that creates the 'World' for you. This is a pretty sleek
process. There are lots of things to do to create a 'World' and it can be a
little scary. This is what we did and we're very pleased with the results.

Subject: JBA ML - Other-Worldly upgrade

Greetings!
I am a system21 newbie who is about to have a huge learning experience.
Having just started at my current company, I have been given the task of
taking the company's software through what looks like several revisions
(uplifts? upgrades?). To make things more interesting, I am supposed to
install these upgrades to a set of libraries which duplicates our production
libraries. I am told that this duplicate set of libraries is called a
"World" by the Geac folks and I have reviewed a document describing the
creation of this "world".

Does any of this sound familiar to the list members? I am looking for
comments, suggestions, warnings, and any other information to help me reduce
the number of pitfalls in this process.

Thanks in advance,
