You have two options:

1) Add a Validity checking program to the CHGJOB command to validate what is
being changed. You can look at the CL Programming Guide for details on a
validity checking program.

2) The other option is to secure each job queue to restrict users from using
the job queue they are not authorized to.

Option 1 is a better and more secure option. You can use the program to
setup the people allowed to change certain options on the CHGJOB.

Subject: JBA ML - User Profile Special Authorities

Since changing the object CHGJOB to *EXCLUDE for *PUBLIC, it has mean't that
anyone trying to print PC prints (PC Applications) to a network printer has
been
unable to as they keep getting told that the printer isn't available for
printing and therefore believes that it is offline or just not connected to
the
network. Currently I have reverted the object back to *USE, but would like
to
stop people being able to change jobq's, as this can cause serious problems
with
performance.

regards

Jon
