This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Thank you for the answer. Did GEAC mention if this parameter should be changed for schedules also? Michele Chris Castell <CCastell@centura.co.uk> Sent by: jbausers-l-admin@midrange.com 09/07/01 09:44 AM Please respond to jbausers-l To: "'jbausers-l@midrange.com'" <jbausers-l@midrange.com> cc: Subject: FW: JBA ML - Scrap Production Bookings - SP4 To complete this. Geac have confirmed to me that there is a change in SP4. The parameter that switches the backflush for scrap on and off is in the Organisational Model - last page of 1/MDU. 'Backflush Material Usage Including Shrinkage'. To exclude autobackflushing on a scrap booking, set this to '1', which is how we had it set for SP3. To include backflushing set it to '0'. This has been changed to stop a doubling up of scrap transactions. Many thanks everybody Chris Castell -----Original Message----- From: Chris Castell Sent: 06 September 2001 17:30 To: 'jbausers-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: JBA ML - Scrap Production Bookings - SP4 Thanks for this. I have checked this out but I think this refers to 14/PCM. We currently book production (and scrap) in 13/PCM. I shall continue my search. Thanks also to Michelle - I have looked at the activity types - we would book scrap against a PRODRP and I can't see any where that the PRODRP in SP3 is different to SP4 except for the line on 'Relieve Item and Work Station Schedules'. I don't believe that this would cause backflushed items on a scrap booking to be treated differently. Many Thanks anyway Chris -----Original Message----- From: Barry Foxworthy [mailto:bfoxworthy@erinet.com] Sent: 06 September 2001 12:53 To: jbausers-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: JBA ML - Scrap Production Bookings - SP4 This message has been successfully virus checked by the Centura Foods Mail system. Yes, Look in chapter five on page 164, in the Generic Manufacturing Documentation FOB's. It's FB332. There is a new manufacturing parameter (BREC). Not much reading there. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Castell" <CCastell@centura.co.uk> To: <jbausers-l@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2001 4:37 AM Subject: JBA ML - Scrap Production Bookings - SP4 > We are about to go live with SP4 on Sept 16th. > > We have noticed a change in the way that a scrap booking to a works order is > treated.
