Hi Art

We had a similar problem here on 3.5.1 between 2 users only. Yes, these 2
users both work on financials but we could never lock in a specific
transaction that would cause the switch. Some 4 months ago we changed all
our user logins to conform to a new company policy and the problem has not
resurfaced.

GEAC need to look at this but a different login might be a work around
until a PTF is available

Subject: LDA Changes L#USER, L#TERM

We have just found this problem and wonder if anyone else has experienced
it.

When leaving the G/L journal posting option, User name changes at the top
of
the menu and this new user's security is used for menu authorizations. If
you display the LDA, the L#USER # and L#TERM fields have been changed to a
user with an open cash posting session or 3 way match session. If you
display the job using Sysreq 3 the original user and terminal ID is still
signed on according to the IBM operating system.

I am also wondering if this could have anything to do with skipped
sessions,
lockups, etc. We are on 3.5.1.
