We had this exact same problem around the first of the year...
Our friends at Answerlink had the solution for us...
The Solution number is 225193...
This is a known problem, if you look on AnswerLink you should see the case.
The objects replaced were XA701 and XA701FT.
Get on Answerlink and see if you can download this solution...
If not, contact them and ask them to review your Answerlink profile and
verify you are authorized to all of the modules you are supposed to be
authorized to...
Our profile weas not setup correctly so we had to fix that little problem
before I could find and access this solution...

Subject Machine Manager Problems

Last Friday we re-sequenced the tasks in Machine Manager Day End and Day
Start using F22. Now we are having the problem that the RUNADSJOB (submit
Day start) task in Day End continually runs and never moves to the next
task. We have ended JOBSCH and restarted with no impact. The June 1999
update and January 2000 updates were applied last November.
The Day End task list is:
