Eureka...!!!

Apparently our company's product listing (kind of like our company profile
in Answerlink) was missing 4 of the basic products. Apparently they have
found several other customers with this problem too...

So if you're having trouble searching in Answerlink it may be that your
profile if not setup correctly in Answerlink too... Give them a call and
ask them to check your company's product listing...

It is an essential component to making full use of this wonderful tool...

The folks on the help desk did a wonderful job helping me sort out this
puzzler...
I won't mention any names here, they know who they are...

Thanks ;)

Thanks Dan...

I tried searching Solutions on Answerlink but I get nothing...
I searched on XA701 by itself and then XA701FT by itself and all I got
was...
No solutions matched the query.

Maybe it's me but I've never been able to find anything in the Search
facility on Answerlink...

Even the infamous CLNUSRALC does not show any hits when I search for
that...

What am I doing wrong...??? Do you get good search results in
Answerlink...?

I'll wait for the Help Desk to respond with the fix you mentioned...

Thanks again...

Jeff,

We had this also and got a correction from Geac. This is a known problem
if
you look on AnswerLink you should see the case. The objects replaced were
XA701 and XA701FT.

Subject: Machine Manager job statuses not being updated...

I loaded the System Manager PTF's on Christmas Day and ever since then none
of the TASKS running in Machine Manager are having their statuses updated
correctly... This brought us up to V3.5.2-SP3 from V3.5.1-SP2...

The jobs actually do run and do finish, they never reflect that in the
Machine Manager entries however... They all show as status QS - Queued
Successfully or SS - Submitted Successfully, but never RS - Ran
Successfully... Also the last DATE RAN is stuck at tha last date prior to
Christmas that these jobs actually ran...

I know the jobs are running without failure.

I should also note that simple commands that are scheduled such as STRSBS
QBATCH do reflect the RS status and the current date... It's only Standard
TASKS that do not update correctly...

Has anyone else seen this...???

Thanks.
