  • Subject: Product costing migration

I am in the process of completing a full JBA implemenattion for a client and
we are due to go live on 1st Jan but we have one major problem left which is
with our migrated product costing details.

We have migrated all details from the existing S/36 application including
shrinkage which has been migrated to SHRN24 in MSP24. When we look at the
item costs, the cummulative shrinkage is incorrect and the only way we can
find to populate this is to go through all BOM's for an item and press F8 to
update but without making any changes, this then calculates the cummulative
shrinkage and updates SHRC24 in MSP24. When we do an item master recost
SHRC24 is not recalculated.

Does anyone know if we are missing anything or if there is an easy way to
calculate cummulative shrinkage. Our two options at the moment are to
update each BOM manually or to write a program to do this, of course the
calculations must go to the very bottom level item first and calculate up
from there, this could be very dificult.

Any help would be appreciated.
