Sorry for the long delay, but I am just beginning to catch up on email after a move. We operated V2 using the V3 Application Manager until we did the V3 upgrade. This does allow both versions to be active at the same time. Caution: Check that your library lists are very accurate! This can cause grief if you are not careful. We use a consolidated files library for each environment, a mod'ed files library above that, a mod'ed programs library, and then vanilla JBA libraries as appropriate. Hope this helps. "Newbie" question number two -- we are in a V2 manufacturing environment utilizing a V3 financial environment via "bridge" libraries because our manufacturing was too heavily modified to upgrade it for Y2K. Question -- how do we activate application manager access for V3 applications when most of our stuff runs under V2? Regards, Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
