RE: Consolidation of Sub-Ledger Control Accounts

It would be wise to determine why the account is post inhibited. 

A 'Y' indicates that the account is a Sub-Ledger Control Account.
You may choose to map this 'sub' account to another account in the parent
company defined specifically for that purpose.

If you are consolidating All accounts then you would want to change the
mapping on the control accounts.  Otherwise you would not want to have
subledgers in the parent company, just the control accounts as normal
accounts.

There is an excellent section in the Visual Document that I can pass on if
you would like.

Hi All

When we maintain a sub-ledger control account in a source company (1/GLM)
we are given a message 'Target Account is Post Inhibited' , that is,
account has post inhibit flag set  to 'Y' in the target company. What's the
easiest work around?
