Jeff Normally, you only need to transfer the full demand history once. If you do it more than once, you would overwrite any demand experience smoothing you may have performed. Demand experience for new items will be picked up when you transfer the last period demand. When forecasting a new item you may want to consider forecasting it manually until you get enough demand experience to get a reasonable answer from the methods JBA supplies.
