So this guy's "ok" but what about the (insert number of unwarrented spammers here ) who will salt the conversations for a chance to plug their wares or just blatently do a plug. My understanding of this email group was to foster an online community to allow open discussions for JBA users. Not to create a police state where the moderator is forced to decide who's solicitation is or isn't appropriate. As the moderator for another group not related to JBA I find that sort of decision not an easy one to define. What is very appropriate is a reply saying please contact me directly and lets discuss this outside the group, this way the vendors do get the chance to offer solutions and the group gets to see this offering, yet it does not disrupt the flow of the group as a whole. I appreciate the way this group is structured and moderated as to the benefit of the users relationships within the forum of JBA cross referencing and helping one another, instead of being isolated with no outside interaction as to the levels of importance on JBA issues. WWW.Midrange.com does provide a midrange resource area where vendors can be listed and found quite easily.
