Along time ago in a land far away, a company named "Olympic Software, Ltd."
headquartered in the UK purchased a Software house "Johnson Brown
Associates" located in Australia. Eventually the companies were merged
together and the parent Company "Olympic Software, Ltd." changed their name
to JBA International. The initials stuck, the rest did not.

In fact the initials of the parent company stuck also. OSL, the initials,
are used through out JBA as the first 3 letters of their AS400 library
names. "oslapf3", oslinf3" etc.

I've always been told it doesn't stand for anything. We are often asked
this by customers and auditors.
