Dan,

I would use PMP09 for open purchase orders, which is more of the transaction
file than PMP03. Pay attention to reserved quantities if you have reservations.
Also, you may want to consider planned supply (requisitions) that have not
created PO's yet, but may upon a time fence (DRP) or through pending
authorizations. You may also want to exclude items which need "safety" stock if
contractually obligated, however, a report might show up safety stock that is
not needed along with the rest of the inventory "bloat".

Last week I posted questions about inactive parts (and I'd like to thank Jim,
Kelly, & Bruce for sharing their knowledge - a big help for sure!).

It looks like I'll be taking the approach that will search through the INP95
file for certain movement types.

The user with whom I'm working on this project also indicated that I'll need to
check for open customer orders, open vendor purchase orders, and open work
orders.

Open customer orders were mentioned last week, and it appears that I'll use
OEP55 (both STAT55 & QTNO55 = blanks) for that.

How about open vendor purchase orders? PMP03? What kind of data selection?

How about open work orders?

TIA,
Dan Bale
