There is a tool from Progress software Apptivity that we have used for a number of clients that does not require anything special on the 400 except the Java toolkit for the JDBC driver. You can create Java based inquiries and status reports very quickly and deliver them to your customers. As long as the database is external, this would work great. You can download a sample test at www.progress.com then follow the like to the Apptivity group. john John Bussert jbussert@stecnet.com Swift Technologies, Inc. 847-289-8339 847-289-8939 fax > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-jbausers-l@midrange.com > [mailto:owner-jbausers-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Dan Thomas > Sent: Friday, March 12, 1999 11:25 AM > To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com'; 'JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com' > Subject: E-Commerce > > > We are interested in giving existing customers the ability to order > products and check on order / shipment status via the Internet.
