I find it most interesting both of you (Dan and Doug) are encoutering some of the identical problems we are finding. We too are using the Vertex interface (which agreed, is a monster)... and fighting licensing issues and looking for alternatives. We looked at group jobs but that method seems really hokey so we too are looking toward explorer.
