3.5 -> 3.5.1 we will have to fix these problems again. Is there any one
else out there with the same issues? I have tried to convince JBA that if
you have 3 eaches of an item it follows that you have 1 of the item if sold
in 3s but JBA still contends that the system is correct and really there are
only 0.99999 of the item.

We have also had problems with unit of measure conversions. The database
files allow taking orders in customer units of measure and we had mods
written to utilize these fields. The rounding problems are real and are in
part inherent in the way in which the system deals with rounding and
truncation. The AS/400 is basically a fixed point machine. Rounding must
be explicitly provided for and must be dealt with VERY carefully within
programs to avoid problems. Our solutions seem to work, but they too are
not perfect.
