Have you tried to put both sizes DSPSIZ(*DS3 *DS4) in the display?you can even condition in the DSPF if you want different positions for according to the screen size.
There is even DSPMOD at the record level, dunno how it interact with a window though...

You need to add another record format to your DDS for the window, that
specifies the "ASSUME" keyword.
You do not need to actually display this other record format in your
program, it just needs to have that ASSUME keyword somewhere in there.
